History

SmartVideo Technologies, Inc., was founded in 1999 by a small team of talented developers and engineers in Atlanta, GA, to address limitations they encountered trying to deliver quality video in their multi-port videoconferencing business. Their discovery of a process that allows the delivery of quality video communications via low-bandwidth, dial-up connections ultimately led mobile entertainment solutions. The technology was converted to resolve persistent quality issues with video streaming, and later to enable wireless devices to be used for entertainment and interactive applications.

Today, SmartVideo, publicly traded and listed on the OTC Bulletin Board under the symbol SMVD.OB, is a leading provider of turnkey digital solutions for delivering all types of media content via cellular, PDAs and wireless devices, and the Internet.
